 The advantages and disadvantages of database systems over paper based systems.

The advantages of having a database system over paper based systems are:

• you do not need to worry about  storage
• your work can be recovered from any where
•      you can update your work
•  a paper system can suffer damage
•    you could be re-ordered with a single click 
•     you can easily search it
• with basic email such as skipe, Facebook, yahoo etc you have quick and easy contact   

The disadvantages of having a database system over paper based systems are:

•    Anyone can access your work unless you have strong passwords and security   
• You could get a virus and it could lose all your work
• It can be expensive
• There is no human contact so you can be misunderstood
